Tenbury Wells Music Festival Date: 30th June 2018

Grapevine Music Project

Grapevine Music Project
After last year’s successful festival introduction, Grapevine Music Project returns to Tenbury Wells, this time with a special launch event at the Regal Theatre in Tenbury on Saturday 7th April.

You can get a flavour of GRAPEVINE MUSIC PROJECT at our SHOWCASE performance at the Regal Theatre on Saturday 7th April (6.30pm to 7.30pm) featuring our 2017 students. This free event will also provide prospective students the chance to meet the tutors and sign up for this year’s programme.

From smart phone to microphone!
Many young people start in music by playing along to tracks on their smart phones in the safety of their own home. Our project is aimed at young people aged 11 to 20 from the area, just starting out, who have a passion for contemporary music and are looking for a way to play with others.

The programme consists of a series of 3 workshops taking place at the Regal Theatre on 5th and 12th May and also at Tenbury Festival on 30th June where young people work with professional musicians to develop their skills and confidence. Young musicians who get involved will have the opportunity to play in front of a live audience at the Tenbury Music Festival on Saturday 30th June – save the date!
